Research and selection of images • Acquire images from attachments, websites and through direct requests • Determine whether sourced or provided images are of decent size, quality and relevancy to the feature and accept or reject in accordance with this • When images are unavailable or inadequate, seek stock images • Reject requests that ask for design or editorial changes when original image is accurate and appropriate to our client’s standards • Vet images for their compliance against various advertising codes, requirements and standards • Complete a high level of retouching and photo editing in bringing images to standard • Creating a high volume of feature images every day to meet our client’s high feature output levels • Taking training, style guide and general feedback on-board and making image corrections appropriately and incorporating this feedback into future design decisions

• Undergraduate or Masters in Graphic Design/Media Design, Computer Science. • Expert level Adobe Photoshop, Experience using MS-Office • Motivated, driven, and capable of working both independently and within a team • Flexibility, strong organisational and communication skills. • Positive attitude, energetic approach and self-motivation are all essential • A keen eye for creating aesthetically pleasing and engaging imagery • Interest in travel, lifestyle and food photography • Well-versed in current web and photo industry standards • Capacity to communicate efficiently with multilingual staff - language level B2 or above in English. Other languages desired. • Proven experience as Digital Photo/Picture Editor preferred.
